Darcy Perry Darcy Perry.
Don't Hold Back.
These boys don't mess around! This album was recorded in a mere three days which some might say was a tad rushed, but those blues lovers out there I'm sure will agree that this style of music is best represented with the energy and freshness of live recording, so that's what they've done. Soon after it's release this album won an Iwi Radio Network award for Best NZ Blues Release reaffirming this decision. All tracks bar one are written and produced by Darcy himself.

Ian Goodsman Lil' Ian Goodsman.
Drunken Hearted Man.
The blues Lil' Ian plays, covers or self penned, are heavily influenced by the Piedmont style of blues from the 1920's and 30's, that is - they are ragtimey. His first CD 'Out Of The Blue' enjoyed international airplay, and he has already had requests for copies of 'Drunken Hearted Man' for review and airplay in the U.S.A. Bruce Iglauer of Alligator Records in Chicago said of Lil' Ian that he is "an excellent guitarist in the old style". Now living in New Zealand, Lil' Ian has played the Bay of Islands, Whangarei and National Jazz and Blues Festivals.
